The Hidden Gem on Middle Harbour

roseville chase

Located on Sydney's Middle Harbour at its uppermost reaches, Roseville Chase is an idyllic and bushy suburb on the fringe of Garingal National Park. Often considered a hidden gem by the locals, the area is in a sublime setting with easy access to the city as well as the Chatswood & North Sydney commercial districts via public transport.

Captain Arthur Phillip's search for "good land, well watered" led to the discovery and colonisation of the rough shores of Roseville Chase, where Samuel Bates built a farm at Echo Point on the edge of what is now Middle Harbour. This suburb boasts a marina and cafe, parkland and sheltered BBQ areas, bush tracks along the water's edge and rock shelves with the remains of Aboringinal hand stencils.
